Archiving Policy

The contents of JACoW are set up in such a way such that they are not dependent on any particular person, platform, or institute.

The JACoW collaboration regards PDF, in its particular form of PDF/A 1, as a storage format that will be stable in the relatively long term.

If PDF should disappear in the future, it will not be sudden and there will certainly be a migration path to its replacement.

In such a case, we would migrate to the new system.

If, in the worst of all cases, this were not possible, we have tools that can be used to assemble the papers into volumes for printing.
