Numerous automated teller machines ATM are located in downtown Vancouver near the Georgian Court. There is also a Royal Bank (RBC) with an ATM located near TRIUMF.

Credit cards are accepted at most restaurants and shops. American Express, Diners, MasterCard and Visa are accepted. There is a trend at some Chinese or ethnic restaurants to be cash only.

Fall (October - December)

Temperatures in Vancouver get cooler in the fall, but the changing colour of the leaves and the start of the entertainment season make it a spectacular time to visit. Itís easy to fill your stay with museum visits, gallery browsing, garden strolls and a night or two at the theatre. Itís also a great time for sports fans to plan their stay with the beginning of the Canucks and Giants hockey seasons!
