Programme

David Button has prepared this year's Team Meeting programme together with the Board of Directors and working group.

Pre-Conference SPMS Developers

A pre-TM SPMS Developers Meeting will take place from 14:00 to 18:00 on Saturday afternoon, 5 November and from 09:00 to 17:30 on Sunday, 6 November. This meeting is restricted to developers, and is by invitation only. It will take place in at the TRIUMF Laboratory in the Vancouver Canada.

The Team Meeting

The Team Meeting proper will take place at TRIUMF Vancouver, from Monday morning 08:30 to Thursaday lunchtime, 7 to 10 November. Plenary sessions will take place in the Atrium. The board room for the parallel and working group sessions will be included in the detailed programme.

The TM is using a dedicated JACoW 2016 SPMS Team Meeting Instance located at FNAL.

See the Agenda in https://spms.fnal.gov/pls/tm2016/agenda.html.

The programme is made up of oral sessions, one poster session devoted to conference reports, and small number of parallel sessions for tutorials and working groups. Registration for the parallel sessions will be via a doodle pole which will be made available shortly.

The parallel sessions will take place on the Tuesday and Wednesday. Some introductory overviews of parallel sessions are scheduled in advance to facilitate the learning process. The Agenda will be available shortly.

One-on-one time has been factored into this years meeting so that team members can organically arrange time to address specific topics of discussion, these sessions will be available in the final program which will be releases shortly. It is asked that team members make themselves available in these periods to work with or team members.

A reception will follow the poster session on Monday afternoon, and the Team Meeting dinner will take place on the Wednesday evening, 9th November. See more under Social Events.

JACoW Team Members are essentially the persons responsible for publication of proceedings. However, many different skills and competences are now required and the load is often shared between several persons. Team Members should not hesitate therefore to share this invitation with colleagues who may benefit from learning more about the different aspects of the organization of accelerator conferences, in particular those with responsibilities relating to registration and IT.
