Parsed Document

The Cat Scan Editor in the Parsed Document section of the report, builds a progressive table of each component of your paper including, title, paragraph, etc. and examines it against the associated JACoW Style. Green status are assigned to components which have a known set JACoW Style and match the formatting rules for that style type. If the style is not recognized as a known JACoW style it is assigned a Amber status and ? as it is unknown. It is recommended that the author apply the correct corresponding JACoW Style to each document component.

Viewing & Applying Your Document Styles

To see and use the Styles in your document go to the Home tab, and look within the Styles section of the ribbon. Alternatively you can open the Styles Window by the keyboard shortcut Alt + Ctrl + Shift + S.

Styles Window to view and select styles in your document.

To Apply a Style, select the section of content that you wish to apply the style to, and the Click on the style in the Style Window or Style section of the Home tab ribbon.
