Recommended Software for the Proceedings Office

A presentation on setting up the editorial suite (software, cloning) at the conference venue can be found here.

Smaller conferences (4-6 editors) can think about setting up the workstations one by one, for bigger conferences a master setup should be done and other computers cloned from the master.

A list of (strongly) recommended software follows.

All software must be installed with at least the English language.

Where not specified, the recommended software version is the "latest stable version available". It's very important to make sure that all patches have been installed.
